Managing
Partner Warren R. Leiden is experienced in all aspects
of corporate immigration law and focuses on permanent residence
issues. He currently divides his time between the San Francisco
and metro Washington DC offices where he engages with Congress
on behalf of the firm and its clients.
Mr. Leiden has been active in the Congressional debates that
led to major immigration legislation since the early 1980's
and has testified before Congressional committees on numerous
occasions. He was inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the American
Immigration Law Foundation in 1997. Mr. Leiden is a member
of the national steering committee of Compete America, the
national business immigration coalition, and works closely
with business and trade associations. Mr. Leiden was recently
re-elected as a Director of the American Immigration Lawyers
Association (AILA). He was the AILA executive director and
its Washington Representative from 1982-1996. Mr. Leiden was
a founder and executive vice president of the American Immigration
Law Foundation (AILF) where he was recently re-elected as
Treasurer and Director. He is currently a Policy Management
Committee member of the Employee Relocation Council. Mr. Leiden
is also a board member of the Pacific Coast Immigration Museum.
