Partner Warren R. Leiden is experienced in all aspects of corporate immigration law and focuses on corporate permanent residence programs. He currently divides his time between the San Francisco and metro Washington DC offices where he engages with Congress on behalf of the firm and its clients.
Mr. Leiden has been active in the Congressional debates since the early 1980's and has testified before Congressional committees on numerous occasions. He was inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the American Immigration Law Foundation in 1997. Mr. Leiden is a counsel to the national steering committee of Compete America, the national business immigration coalition, and works closely with business and trade associations. Mr. Leiden is an elected Director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He was the AILA executive director and its Washington Representative from 1982-1996. Mr. Leiden was a founder and executive vice president of the American Immigration Law Foundation (AILF) where he now serves as Treasurer and Director. He is currently a member of the Policy Management Committee of the Employee Relocation Council. Mr. Leiden is also a board member of the Migration Policy Institute (MPI) and the Pacific Coast Immigration Museum.
