Fudge Jeremy Fudge is a partner, splitting his time between Berry Appleman & Leiden's Dallas and Houston offices. His practice covers both nonimmigrant and immigrant business visa issues, as well as advising companies in complex immigration practice and policy concerns.
Mr. Fudge has extensive experience practicing U.S. immigration law. Prior to BAL, he worked at two large law firms in Dallas. His practice focuses on advising and representing clients in a variety of industries, but with a primary focus on the energy industry and the engineering and construction industry. Mr. Fudge has extensive experience counseling large multinational corporations on immigration issues arising from corporate reorganizations, mergers, and layoffs; managing PERM recruitment programs; obtaining E, H, J, K, L, O, R, and TN nonimmigrant visas; obtaining complex green cards under the extraordinary ability, outstanding researcher, multinational manager/executive, and National Interest Waiver categories; advising on public access and I-9 program compliance and improvement; and handling issues arising from work on the Outer Continental Shelf. Mr. Fudge also leads the firm's Consular Processing practice with the U.S. Consulate in Matamoros, Mexico. He is a frequent speaker on employment-related immigration topics. Mr. Fudge currently serves on the AILA Texas Service Center Liaison Committee for 2008-2009.
Mr. Fudge received his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Journalism and Political Science from Baylor University. He received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from The University of Texas School of Law. Mr. Fudge is a member of the Texas State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
