July 11, 2008 — The Federal Migration Service (FMS) of Russia has reopened the 2008 work permits quota and, as of July 8, 2008, is once again accepting Employment and Work Permit applications for Moscow and the Moscow Region from nationals of countries that require a visa.

It is highly possible that the new quota may be reached again within few weeks; therefore applications in the future may not be accepted until 2009.
