| January 23. - Citing that "events
have indicated that some number of individuals affected by the
Groups I and II Notices remained unaware of the requirements"
the Department of Justice granted a second chance to individuals
subject to special registration as part of these groups to register
between Monday January 27, 2003, and February 7, 2003.
Groups I and II consist of certain male nationals from the
countries of Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Eritrea, Iran,
Iraq Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, North Korea, Oman, Qatar, Somalia,
Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, or Yemen.
