August 19, 2003 – The U.S. State Department today announced that registration for the Diversity Visa Lottery being conducted this year will be done electronically through a special website. The State Department noted that website will be operational and accessible during lottery submission period from Saturday, November 1, 2003 to Tuesday, December 30, 2003. The entire process will be done on line, and paper entries and mail-in requests for diversity visa registration no longer accepted.
